We are looking for a forever home for Teddy but would consider foster with a view to adopt
Teddy, (previously known as Onyx) is 3 years old and is a larger boy at 30kg . He is a labrador/pointer cross and has been waiting in the shelter for 2 years.
2025 is going to be his year ! We just know it !
Teddy currently shares his kennel space nicely with girls – he prefers not to share with boys !
Teddy is incredibly bright and enjoys a challenge both physical and mental. He loves to spend time out of the kennels , and behaves very well on the lead, he is very responsive to training and will sit on command , for a treat of course !
Above all Teddy loves people ! He is very human orientated and loves to please in return for lots of kisses and cuddles.
In seeking his forever home Teddy is looking for a home without a male dog or small furry animals. He could share his home with a female dog. We would recommend that any children in the home be over 10 years of age.
Like any rescue who has been in a shelter for a long time Teddy will need time and patience and lots of love and reassurance to learn how to live in a home environment.
He will also need further training but he is so bright he will soak it all up a sponge. It would be great if his forever home was used to bigger dogs / labrador types who will enjoy the challenge of exercising and training him and nurturing him to be the best dog he can possibly be.
This wonderfully loving, hugely affectionate, exuberant boy hasn’t lost his jest for life even though the only life he has known so far is a life on the streets or in a kennel
Teddy just needs that one special person who can see his potential and to give him a chance to escape the shelter and be able to live the life that every dog deserves. Teddy can travel to the UK as soon as a foster/forever home is offered.
