Gia is a 1 year old pointer cross girl of small-medium size. She was brought into the shelter as a stray in July. Gia has very sweet nature and is a confident girl and showers everyone she meets with love .
Gia is clearly well socialised and so we think she has potentially been in a home before, then likely abandoned, which happens all too often in Cyprus once a dog is past the cute puppy phase and no longer wanted.
Gia is a well- balanced and gentle girl and will happily live alone or with other dogs, she also loves cats and could easily live alongside them.
Gia really needs to find her forever home. She is in a kennel environment at the moment where she cannot be her true self or get the love and attention she wants and needs.
She would easily fit into just about any home situation, she just needs someone to give her a chance.
She will of course need time and patience to settle and although she may have lived in a home before, she will need gently reminding of the basic training skills. Gia is very smart and we are sure she will pick things up very quickly.
We have no doubt that this girl will make the best companion and become the most loyal friend.
