Luna – 4 year old female Pointer Cross

Hey there. My name is Luna. I am a big size female pointer cross about 4.5 years old with the most beautiful colors and smile.

I may be a big girl, but don’t let my size fool you—I’ve got a nose for adventure! I’m equipped with a super strong sniffer that can detect treats from a mile away. My love for food will make training with me super fun and easy.

Life didn’t start out on the right paw for me. I was found with a broken back leg, but thanks to some incredible humans I have received the best vet care and I’ve made a full recovery.

You wouldn’t even know I had a surgery because I’m as good as new! I’ve proven that nothing can keep me down—I’m a superstar, through and through.

Sure, I may be a bit strong on the lead, but hey, nobody’s perfect! The good news is that I’m a foodie at heart, and that makes training a breeze. Just wave a tasty treat in front of my nose, and I’ll be your eager student, ready to learn new tricks and impress you with my smarts.

I also need slow introductions when meeting new dogs for the first time, I need someone who will help me to learn that new dogs can be lovely and I’ve got nothing to fear.

Once I know them, I’m their best friend. I am at the shelter for over 18 months now and I have shared with many many dogs, males and females and I love my doggie friends.
