Fernando is a very handsome 2 year old male Pointer Cross boy – he looks as if he is wearing a sleek black suit with a white shirt – the perfect tuxedo! He is a big strong boy at 27 kgs.
Fernando is nearly two and a half years old and he has been in rescue for most of his life. – he never had a family to share his puppyhood with but despite growing up in the shelter this big boy is so friendly and loveable. He love to play games and is very good with people
Fernando is highly intelligent and a very quick learner quick learner and really responds well when mentally and physically stimulated. He relishes a new challenge or the chance to learn something new. He is excellent a loose lead walking.
Fernando is definitely a ladies man, and gets on well with the canine girls but we would not recommend he lives with male dogs, cats or younger than teenage children.
It truly is time for Fernando to swap his shelter bars for a coffee bar, where you could have a drink after a long walk. We really do not want him to spend another long hot summer in the shelter heat.
Please do not let Fernando’s size define him, he has been over-looked for so long and he has the potential to be an amazing dog if only someone would give him a chance.
