Theo is a 6 month old male Pointer Cross. He is a gorgeous, friendly pup looking for his forever home!
He has flown to Essex and is settling in well to family life. He is medium-sized (approximately 18kg) with white and ginger markings and will not grow much more.
Playful but with a wonderfully calm and patient nature, Theo is happy to take himself off to relax somewhere—but never too far away. He is full of curiosity for the world around him and enjoys playing with toys, balls, and his antler!
He is still a bit shy of people, but once he knows you, he is lovely and cuddly. Theo has been friendly with all the dogs he has met, from small to large, and is currently living with two male dogs.
He is a clean boy, almost house-trained, and sleeps through the night in a gated utility room. He is learning from the resident dogs but is confident enough to not need a resident dog. He isn’t fazed by household noises such as the TV, radio, hoover, drill, lawnmower, or visitors like a cleaner, gardener, or handyman.
Theo is left alone for short periods during the school run and settles well with a Kong or lick mat, often sleeping until his foster returns. He is not allowed upstairs, respects the stair gate, and does not cry when left. He has no separation anxiety and is fine around food.
He is used to wearing a lead and harness, loves to explore the garden, and enjoys sitting by the back door watching and listening to the birds.
Please consider this loving boy, as he is now ready to find his forever home, which he so deserves. He really is a wonderful dog with huge potential, and we can’t wait to see him flourish.
Theo can be adopted anywhere in the UK but is currently being fostered in Brentwood, Essex.
