We urgently need to find a forever home for Venus, a beautiful girl rescued from the streets in November 2023. Venus, who weighs around 15kg, has a heartwarming story.
£400 REDUCED ADOPTION FEES – Our dogs are at desperate risk of being put to sleep due to the future of our shelter being so uncertain. The shelter is in a terrible situation where we face being shut down due to a court case which has no regard for the safety or welfare of our animals.
Due to this, adoption fees are reduced to increase the chances of finding all our animals safe and loving homes before we are forced to shut down due to no fault of our own. We are determined to do our very best to find forever homes for every single one of our precious animals, but we need your help! Please consider adopting a dog from us!
About Venus:
Venus is a beautiful girl who was rescued from the streets in November 2023 as just a puppy, with a broken leg and pelvis. Luckily, a kind gentleman found her, fed her and covered her vet expenses.
Venus underwent surgery to fix her leg a few weeks after being rescued. She still limps a bit when she gets tired, but with some regular exercise, she may get even better.
Venus is a little shy around strangers, but she will come up for a sniff and a treat. She is Labrador cross with a mix of Pointer and maybe some Staffordshire Terrier. She weighs around 15kgs and she is around 1 year old, so still very young. With the right home and environment, we are confident that she will continue to improve.
Venus gets along well with other dogs and is good with kids. She used to eat with cats on the streets, but hasn’t shown much interest in them since being rescued.
Venus loves chewing on a horn, jumping on the trampoline, and digging holes in the yard. She would benefit from having another dog companion and we hope she finds her forever home soon.
Venus is currently in Cyprus & is ready to fly to her forever home.
