Harriet is a 2 year old female Pointer Cross. Lovely Harriet has a black smooth silky coat and she is a medium sized girl with a lot of Pointer in her. Harriet is very friendly and interacts really well with people and other dogs. She has a great character and would fit into an active family home. She has lots of energy and would be best suited with a person, couple or family who can commit to ensuring she really burns it all up and has regular long walks so that she can remain very active.

Harriet has been in the shelter for a while with minimal training but she responds to what little the staff can give her and she is a very fast learner and very intelligent. We think would do well in agility or obedience, she will need a refresher at basic manners and recall too. In her previous home they had enormous gardens and she had the run of them so a place where she can run and run would be great. Harriet has never shown any signs of aggression and is a friendly and loving dog.

We think Harriet needs to go with children aged 8 and over as she is a quick mover and could knock young ones over. She has not met many children but is super friendly. Harriet chases cats so we don’t think she would like to live with one. Harriet and her eleven siblings were left in a field in Spain to die aged about four weeks. They were all successfully homed and Harriet went to her home when she was about four months old. She remained at that home until she was about 10 months old when there was a change in the owners circumstances. Harriet has been in kennels ever since and she is about two years old now.

Poor Harriet has been in kennels for over a year now and keeps getting overlooked and we dont know why because she is so nice and sooo pretty. Her current location is in Spain can travel to the UK once she has a home to go to. She is vaccinated, wormed, flea treated, spayed, microchipped and has a Pet Passport.

Adoption fee is a £265– to be paid direct to the Spanish rescue to cover travel costs.
