Paco is a 6 month old male Pointer Cross. Handsome boy Paco is a Pointer mix puppy who has been in the UK since the start of August. He travelled to a foster home when all his brothers and sisters were adopted, but unfortunately no one applied to adopt him.
Since he has been in the UK Paco’s confidence has gone from strength to strength. At the moment he’s living in London, which to be honest, is too much for him, but he’s coped well and has acclimatized to the busy environment and got used to the sights and smells. However, as a forever home we’re looking for a family based in a semi-rural area with access to a garden.
Paco is a real sweetheart but can be shy with new people upon first meeting them. He really enjoys the company of other dogs and would benefit from a home with another dog that likes to play.
On occasion Paco has had the opportunity to meet up with some of his siblings in the UK and he’s loved having a good play with them in the park! Another resident dog who can help him settle into a new environment would really help his confidence and adaptability and he would really just enjoy having a playmate.
Paco is very much a goofy hound puppy and he would enjoy a fairly active lifestyle, with loads of love and the chance to really be a part of a family unit. He’s friendly towards people and other dogs, but has not been tested with cats. He could live with slightly older children but he doesn’t have extensive experience with kids and therefore would be better suited to a family who know how to introduce dogs and children.
Paco, just like his siblings, is a smart, energetic breed mix who will require training and lots of exercise. He picks up new commands and tricks with ease and loves to be fussed over. He loves his treats and responds really well to praise. He’s going to do great in a forever home.
