Benson is a nine month old Labrador cross Pointer mix. Benson is a fostered in Gt Yarmouth (FR001). Benson was rescued from a forest in Romania when he was a tiny pup. He was taken to a shelter and traveled to the UK via another rescue in May. Unfortunately his foster placement wasn’t the right place for him and we were asked to take him. Benson is a highly affectionate dog with those he loves but is wary of strangers.

Benson needs an adopter that is focussed on training him as he is a typical naughty pup that needs to learn some nice manners. He is very food focussed and active and needs an interesting lifestyle to keep him occupied. He definitely needs some fine tuning but he is intelligent and eager to learn and we definitely do not want to see that go to waste!

Benson is living happily with other dogs in his new foster home. He is stronger than he looks on a lead but very good off lead. He is a real water baby and plunged straight into the sea on his first beach trip without fear. He’s a lot of love and a little nuts, all wrapped up in a bundle of enthusiasm, he just needs someone with the time to channel all of the good stuff and find the diamond in the rough!
