Coco is a 1 year old female Pointer cross Jura Hound. Coco is a rescue from Cyprus who is currently staying near Buckingham whilst she looks for her forever home. Her foster mum says. “Do you like walking, perhaps in parks? Or rambling? Do you want some company? If you don’t want to be jumped all over and you don’t have a puppy or a toddler that likes to jump all over everything then I have the perfect companion for you; COCO!

Coco is a sensible girl. She’s good on and off the lead, happy around other dogs, greets dogs out walking with a waggy tail. She won’t share her food but is very gentle while taking treats. She’s happy to be cuddled, she’s good with sensible kids. Are you thinking she is too good to be true? Well here are the negatives; Coco doesn’t want to be a trampoline, if children want to jump on her and pull her ears she will grumble and go put herself in her bed. She will play with young boisterous puppies but after a few hours will then go lay down on her bed and if the puppy wants to use her as a trampoline she’ll tell it to go away.

Personally I think she has far too much patience with such behaviour but some may say it’s not enough. She likes being with you but is very happy left at home, no separation anxiety, no barking, no messing in her crate. She is crated as she has no issues with being in her crate and she likes having her own space to retreat to when others are still wanting to play and race around.

Please don’t for one second think she’s some little old lady? I know we don’t know the exact birthdays of our rescue dogs but I expect she may be somewhere between 4 and 5.”

If you are looking for a perfect companion, Coco could be the answer? She has been neutered, vaccinated and microchipped. The minimum adoption donation for Coco is £275.
